Hi,
My parent's previous appointment with Mumbai Consulate for B2 visa was on 31st-Oct-2011. The Officer asked 3-4 questions to my dad and asked just one question to my mom whether she can speak in English, to which she responded as Yes. After that he asked my dad about the planned travel date to US. My dad responded that in the month of Jan.
After that, the officer gave a letter to them stating that your appointment is incorrectly scheduled for today. Please return to the consulate after 2 months from now. There is no need to make a new appointment or pay any additional fees.
What can be the reason for this?
What do they need to do now?
On which date should they visit consulate?
This is the first time they are applying for visa.
Please advice I am very confused.
