Hi, I am a permanent resident having US green card. My Idian passport has been expired. I have applied for renewal in the nearest Indian embassy and haven't received the new one. In the mean time can I use my expired passport copy along with Green card to support my parent's visitors visa or do I need to wait to get the new passport and then ask my parent to go for visa interview? I had already taken the appointment for my parents towards end of November.

Thanks for the response. Just to clarify, I'll send copy of expired indian passport along with other papers. Is that what you intend to say?
FYI-The interview date is 28-NOV-2011.
Thanks for the quick response.Last edited by spd2011; 11-13-2011, 09:55 PM.
