  • Visit visa

    Hi

I am an indian citizen residing in saudi arabia .
i wanted to apply for a visit visa to U.S.
Already i have been refused a student visa to U.S.

My mom and dad are legal permanent resedent residing in washington D.C.

The reason my student visa was denied stated i did not have strong ties with my home country
and also said that an immigration is already filed .

My mom filled an I 130 for me under F2B category in 2010 .
So the question is that i wanted to apply for a visit visa so shall i first cancel my immigration and apply or else is there any other way

Even if you cancel your i-130 the answer for the following question "Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf?" must be yes so there is no use in cancelling the petition as you already showed your interest in immigrating. Give a try for the visit visa.. never know you may be lucky this time !
