who can sponsor B2

I have H1B visa on passport and my wife has H4B

I am planning to sponsor my in-laws to visit US for the first time.

What is recommended should I sponsor or my wife sponsor?

As your wife is on H4, she can't work. Therefore, she can't sponsor.

You should do that.
