Urgent Help: Visitor visa for father refused, reapplying within 15-20 days
My father had an interview @ mumbai 4 visitor visa on 28th nov'11 , and it got rejected they gave 214(b) as a reason.
My scenario is like this,
We are 3 sisters the eldest is in India ,other 2 are here in us incl me.
I am on H4 here.I am expecting my 2nd baby in jan'12 ,my mom already has d visa 4 10yrs. As she came in may ' 08 for d 1st baby.When applied for my mom my papa didn't have even passport and my 1 sis was unmarried so didn't apply @that time.
As our visa is expiring in jan end we didn't sponsor my papa (extension is in progress),so other sis who is here on F1 her husband is also on H1 too so he sponsored him,
Now my Qs are
1. As we are re-applying within 15-20 days, the existing documents should be good or do we need to send new? What about I-134?
2. Is it OK to reapply within 15-20 days or its too early? But we had to because we want them to come before Jan 15th
3. To show family ties in India what exactly he can do if VO doesn't ask specifically? The ties are - one daughter/grand daughter in India, other property / bank-balance docs etc.
4. What all things he must know about 4 of us who are in US, so that he won't face any trouble?
Like visa status,job profile,education,children,contact details, suggest me if I missed anything.
5. I read that one can re-appy if there is some change in circumstances. As there won't be any change in circumstances in our case, how to approach that? My sister's convocation would be around May 2012 but in DS-160 we mentioned that he is going to visit for 2 months - should we mention about convocation in that case?
Please reply as soon as possible as I need to help my father for preparation for visa interview.
