Very Urgent: B2 VISA rejection u/s 221g(2nd attempt)

My parents were first rejected visa on 4th april u/s 214b.

Today i.e. 9th may,they were rejected u/s 221g

The visa officer after asking couple of questions said that we will be issuing you visa but it will take time as we need additional information.

Then he said it will take 3-4 weeks.We do not need any documents from you.We will let you know whether we want you to send passports by courier or bring the passports in person.


If any one has been thru similar situation pl. share ur experience.

Does this mean that the administrative processing will most likely be completed within 3-4 weeks or could it be much longer.

Can we in the mean while apply for tourist visa for Canada?

Whether that process will be over in 3-4 weeks or not really depends.

Meanwhile, you can certainly apply for Canada visa.
