My Father's visa got rejected twice within a span of One and Half Month. The first time I had taken an appointment on March 29th. The apointment was in Telugu. My Father is a widowed and he is a government retired professional. I had sent him again on May 6th with Again it got rejected..they just asked him why are you going to USA. He told that he wants to see the country and myself. After that they asked him how long are you going to stay. He said 4 months. They denied his application. Again I had taken an appointment on May 16th for the third time. Is there any cahnces taht he is going to get on the 3rd Time. Please let me know what are his chances of Visa approved. His age is 70. Is there any thing we can appeal thru an attorney...for the old case..please let me know...I would appreciate your suggestion.

Regarding B1 and H1B visa
Hi,
i went thorugh the forum and found very informatic.
I had some question regarding my visa.
My company had applied for B1 visa. My schedule interview date was 12th May 2005 in Chennai Counsulate, India. And i got rejected with 214(b). My company again applied for 26th May 2005 in Chennai Counsulate, India. And i again got rejection. This time the counselor officer said that you already got rejected 2 weeks back, tell me the one reason why should my opinion will be different from my colleagues
opinion.
I am afraid that whether my door is closed for US for the future as each time i will go to the US counsulate and they will reject me on the same ground.
Also one another company (whose i am not a employee) is filing H1B for me. They had already started the process and i am suppose to go to the US consulate sometimes in Oct-Nov 2005. Should i go there this time for H1B or i should not go as i don't wan't the third rejection on my passport because that will effect my career as well as my door for US will also be close.
Kindly suggest.

Thanks Immihelp,
i wan't to know one more thing. i got 2 rejections on B1 at Chennai US Consulate. Do i need to apply for H1 in chennai only or i can apply in New Delhi also. As i had seen somewhere written that if once it got rejected in Chennai Consulate i can only apply in Chennai Consulate. Is it True? or for H1 i can schedule my interview at New Delhi Consulate.
Thanks,
Brandy
