Has anyone taken appointment by going to mumbai consulate and submiting documents in person. How soon can you get the appointment by going in person. Please help.

2. It is no different than getting it online. You can't get it sooner by going in person.

Got early appointment

Hello!
If anybody wants appointment earlier then available online, go to VFS center personally to submit application. My parents got appointment within a month.
