How many time can one apply for a change of status

Hi ,

I am on a B1/B2 which is valid till Oct 2005 n I plan to apply for a change of status to H1. I have a few queries :

1. In case the H1 change of status is rejected can I reapply for H1 again. If yes after how much time.

2. In case the H1 change of status is rejected can I still go ahead n reapply to a change of status to F1. If yes after how much time.

So how many times can one apply for change of status , and can one apply for some other status in case the first time its rejected. (like instead of H1 For a F1).
