DS 156 Barcode

is there any restrictions with the number of DS 156 (with bar code) an applicant can fill for the same passport? Will the authorities keep track of the applications with the barcode.
What im asking is i filled DS 156 for a passport and saved the PDF. I found a mistake and wanted to fill another one for the same passport. Can i do that?

Yes you can refill a new online DS-156. Just take the latest one when going for visa.

When you fill the application with barcode, no information is stored in the government website database.

It just translates the information in English into barcode and prints the barcode. When that barcode is scanned, they can retrieve the information. In other words, your data is in that barcode.

Just fill new application.
