Pre-pone the visa appointment - URGENT!

Hi,

I need to bring my in-laws to US urgently as my wife ordered bed rest due to high-risk pregnancy. Our gynic said she has be to be in bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. I got an appointment for my in-laws on June 23rd, but i want to prepone to May last week, so that i can bring them to US immediatltly so that we both can get moral support during the difficult times.

Please advise if any one know the best way to pre-pone my in-laws visa appointment date.

There is no way to get earlier appointment like that for those reasons.

doctor's note and local senator's office assistance may work

i'm not sure whether this will work for pregnancy related case, but can be tried. if your doctor can write a proper letter indicating the situation and if you can fax the letter to the consular officer @ Amcon and also fax a letter with explanation with this note to your local senator's office, you may be able to get a pre-ponement for the interview date.
i know it worked in a very recent case where the woman was to go in for a major surgery and wanted her mom to be with her. the local senator and mumbai's amcon helped in getting an immediate interview date and a b1/b2 visa with no document check.

that may be truly an exceptional case but Dr's letter for pregnancy help do NOT work out in almost all situations.
