  • Visitor visa for parents & in-laws together

    Hi,
I want to take visitor visa appointment for my parents & in-laws together on the same day at Chennai consulate, how to take appointment for all of them on the same day?
When we fill the form there is option for group, my understanding is that it is possible only if all of them belong to same family. How to do this in my case. Please guide me.
Thanks & Wish You all A Very Happy New Year.

You can take one apponitment per family.

Parents and in-laws are two separate families.

You can try on the same day and around the same time, if available.

However, there is no way to have all 4 of them together in one appointment.

Interview of my parents & in-laws at the same time

      Hello Experts,

Thanks for the reply to my previous post.

I have taken the visitors visa appointment for my parents and in-laws at chennai consulate (interview in Kannada). I am the sponsor for all of them. First I took appointment for my parents, after that I took appointment for my in-laws. I chose both appoinements on the same day (there was no option to choose interview time) thinking that timings for both appoinements will be different. Now the appointment for my parents & in-laws is at the same time & same day (I don't know how many counters are there for interview in Kannada). I am assuming that all might go to the same counter for interview.
Now I am worried will it create any kind of problem (I am the sponsor for all of them)? Does it raise any question that why somebody is sponsoring all at same time?
Now I am thinking is it a good idea to re-schedule either one of them on a different day? I am really worried after reading lot of rejections on this forum.
Has anybody been in this kind of situation? Please give some information & suggestions.

      Thanks,
      eb1us

I am also facing same situation now. Is it recommended to book same Visa interview date for Parents and in-laws? I would like to do so that my Mom and in laws can travel together from Indore to New Delhi.

          Could anyone please suggest me?

          Thanks
