How old documents can be taken?

My parents will be going for visa second time. The documents I sent them for their first interview will will be 5 months old by the time of their second interview. Is it better if I send the documents again or is it ok for them to take the same documents again?

There is no rule regarding how old documents are valid.

Better to send new ones.
