Me and my spouse had been rejected couple of years back when applying for B2 visa under 214B. When I applied recently with my family this time we got 221G yellow slip saying NIV application requires admin processing. I want to know is this another way to say your visa application rejected? As at the time of interview the VO already had yellow slip on this desk. And after listening to our answers he returned our passport and gave this slip and asked us to check our application status online and if approved can submit the passport for visa. Time he said that he is not sure. I am really disappointed with this. Any advice?

221 G (B2 visa) status application in processing.
My case status its showing 'application in processing...' I would like to know how long does a administrative processing procedure takes to get completed for a non immigrant visa (B2 visa) application. Is it that non-Immigrant visa takes less time compared to immigrant visa applications? I am an Indian National.
