Need advice for b1/b2

Hi all,

I am applying for a b2 visa for the purpose of giving an exam (usmle step2 cs). My father will be sponsoring me. But my own bank account has about 1 lakh only. Is it advisable for my father to transfer some money into my account and mention in his letter of support that He has transferred XX amount of money into his son account for the purpose of his trip.
