MY father got the visitor Visa. Can he get an open ticket while coming to US. Will it raise any doubts at the port of entry about staying over. How mnay months he should tell he is going to stay..6 months or 3 months. He told at the time of interview he would stay not more than 3 months..Any advise is apprecaited....

Stay whatever duration he really wants to stay, irrespective of what he told at the time of interview.
It may possibly cause problems at port of entry with open ticket. It is subjective and difficult to predict.Immihelp Support
