Mothers visa got rejected..Please advice for second application

Hi all,

My mothers visa was rejected today at mumbai consulate. My father cannot visit due to farming reasons. So only my mother applied.

Here is how the interview went:

1) Why do you want to go?
- To meet daughter
2) Since when is your daughter in US?
- 2005
3) On what visa
- H1b
4) What do you do?
- School Teacher
5) What is you salary?
- xx lacs (single digit lacs)
6) Who is going to pay for your trip?
- Myself
7) Why is your husband not visiting
- He manages our farming land hence cannot come

.....Rejected...

Family background:
My brother (married) is in India. I am here is US (married).

What can be changed when she applied for 2nd time. My dad cannot come/apply for the interview. Please advice on what can be done.

Hi if its not that urgent,ask her to apply as late as possible. You can get help from the state senators(both)..get things prepared that shows her ties with india(eg affidavits,value of the land,house all gov approved and notarised),get affidavit from your dad stating why cant he travel.get a letter from school for the leave arranged,you can fill I-134 for her.

they dont look at any documents..it all upon luck.my parents got rejected 4 times...nways try again...all the best
