I am a doctor and wanted to visit the US for giving the USMLE Step 2 CS exam. My visa was rejected saying that i dont have enough social ties. My father and mother are in India and so is my sister. None of my immediate relatives are in the US. The first time the interviewer seemed to be upset about something .. that was in 2003. I reapplied in Dec 2003, this time the interviewer was good and he told me that i dont stand a chance of getting a visa until i continue to apply for the exam. As far as statistics go, majority of visas were rejected for this exam in 2003. However, I noticed that in 2004 lot of visas were issued for the same exam so i reapplied. However, again this time my visa was rejected. This time the interviewer told me that "unfortunately your visa was rejected and i dont find the reasons good enough to overrule the previous authorities, so i am rejecting your visa".
Kindly let me know if i should reapply this time and what precautions i should take for the same.
Thank you
