Can I receive visit visa from US?

Hello!

I'm an Indian Citizen, holding Indian passport residing in India. An American family wants to invite me to US. Can they take a visit visa for me in US and send to me? Without I'm applying for visa herein in India and do I have to attend interview in India?

Visa is not a shirt or TV that someone can take for you and send it to you.
