  • Re- Application for Tourist Visa!!! Need Urgent help

    Hello friends,

I need urgent help, appreciate experts reply on this.

I am in great need, in second week of Feb i would be traveling with my 3 m month old baby. I would be going on my H1-b visa. My husbands company is filling his L1 seperately.

My biggest worry is care of my child when i m at work, for same reason i processed visa process for my parents so that i could take my mom with me. but as mercy their visa got rejected.
Now as my next step, once i go there i am planning to send invitation letter to parents so that we can re-apply their visa application.
my question is how soon i can send them invitation letter and what documents would be required.

Frankly speaking i just want my mom to be with me to take care of my child till he turns 6 months, once he is 6 months i can send her back to India as she has other commitments here to take care.

please suggest me what care I should take while applying for my parents visa again.
My initial plan was to take my mom first, a month or two after I can call my dad (he is in gvmt service), would take them to some travel places and they both return back to India.

Please suggest, I am living with a nightmare of keeping my little child with totally strange person or at day care.

    Appreciate your help.

If you want to come to the U.S. to work, you will have no option than to trust the day care people to take care of your child. There are many good ones out there.

There are millions of women in this country who live alone (that is just with husband and not with parents or in-laws) and they go to work by leaving their child(ren) in day care.

    You must accept that.

Trying to bring along your mother just to do that will not work.

And visa officers know this very well. They handle around one thousand people like you every day.

      Thanks

      Thanks for reply.

But my further question is can I not take my parents to visit US at all?
Taking care of my child is not the only reason I want my mom to be with me as i mentioned in my first post as well. I would also want to take them to various places.
And legally I know that I cant keep them for long, it could be just 3 months or at the max 6 months.

I know there are many ppl who call their parents just to take care their children.
I would want to know the possibility of success rate of getting approved visa when I am working there. Right now i m in India.

Will my case be stronger when i send an invitation letter to my parents? Thats my sole question.
