My moms I 94 stamped only for 1 month

Hi,
My mom reached from India today and they stamped her I 94 just for one month.
she visited USA last dec returned back to India after 6 months and she stayed in India for 7 months and now when she came after 7 months, they gave her just 1 month stay.
She has always been legal and has never overstayed...
What can we do now....filing extension takes longer
Please help...she came because I will be having a baby soon ....I need her.

If she got 1 month I-94, that is all she can stay.

Extension is quite likely to be denied because they didn't want her to stay longer.
