Hi, I am applying for B2 Visitor Visa. I am currently employed in India in a reputed IT firm as a Business Analyst for the past 5 years. The company has agreed and approved my leave to visit the US. I have sufficient funds to sponser my trip and hence I have decided to apply for a Self sponsered Visa. The question is, in order to get my Visa approved, is it necessary to produce the PAN card? I have all other documents such as Employment letter, leave sanction letter, Tax returns filed for the past 5 years. The problem is , I travelled to Singapore for work purpose from the same company and I lost my PAN card in Singapore. I have applied to issue new Pan card , however it takes time. hence, can you please let me know if PAN card is really necessary to get the Visa approved. I also do not see PAN card as one of the docs to be produced for self sponsered Visa. Kindly advice. Thanks in advance!!
