  • Invite parents for graduation ceremony

    Hi,

I am plan to invite my parents for my graduation ceremony. I have 2 queries,

    (1) I need to send them copies of my passport, VISA, I-20 and 10th marks sheet as part of supporting documents for their VISA interview. Could you please let me know if the copies of passport, VISA, I-20 and 10th marks I mail to them need to be notarized.

    (2) Do I need to send 2 copies of every documents (like invitation letter, consulate letter, passport, I-20, bank statements, bank letter, pay stubs, w2 etc) for each of my parents or 1 copy for both of them will do. I will send I-134 separately for them. Are other documents of only 1 copy fine.

    Thanks.

      Hi,

Thanks for the response. I went through the link. It does say "one set of supporting documents are enough".

About notarizing, it just says I-134 does not need to be notarized. Does not indicate if passport, VISA, I-20 etc needs to be notarized or not. Could you please answer this question.

      Thanks.
