Visitor visa rejected under 214(g) for parents to attend sons graduation

Hello My parents atteneded an visa interview on 8th february at mumbai embassy and were rejected under 214(b).Here is their visa experience.Visa interview was in gujarati

VO:Why you want to go to usa
DAD:To attend Sons graduation cerimony

VO:Which university?
DAD:XYZ university

VO:What you income?
11 lacs

VO:how many childrens you have?
DAD:3

VO:Where are they?

Two are in australia and one in USA

VO :Why have you travelled to Australia?
DAD:To meet my son and daughter

VO:How long would you stay in US?
DAD: 1 month

VO:Where is sons(my) wife?(shes on dependent f2 visa with me from past 6 months)
DAD:In usa with my son

VO:Show me you IT Papers
DAD:Showed him

VO:You visa is denied as you would not come back..


Please let me know what went wrong with this how can i make them reapply and improve thier chances of getting visa.

My MOM and DAD has been to australia 3 times

In the officer's view, with all 3 children out of India, they have no family ties to India which will compel them to return. Plus 3 visits to australia just shows they really want to live close to their children.
They can't change that, but your mother may stand a chance reapplying alone after a few months. Should not show desperation by reappying too early.
If your dad is employed, she can say that he has not gotten leave to go.
( Even with this approach, it all depends on the officer).

What if make them apply again in early April and send a personal letter from me inviting them for the graduation.

what are the chances of getting visa for both of em together.

Personal letter won't carry any weight . Lack of family ties is the deciding factor. And you can't change that in 2 months. In my opinion April attempt will be a vain effort.
