Visitor visa for my mother along with my L1 visa renewal?

I'm on L1 visa and it is expiring next month. I'm going to India for the visa renewal. I'm planning to apply visitor visa for my mother and bring her along with me to US.

Is it safe to apply for both the visas together? ( my L1 visa and my mothers Vistor visa ?)
or should i apply my mothers visa after getting my visa?

Please advise.

That is fine. Visitor Visa application is your Mother's, all you are doing is paying for the trip.
