My parents are planning to visit my brother in New York for a few weeks. I was looking at the procedure to apply for their visa.
I know I have to fill 2 separate DS160 forms for both my parents, but there is an option to apply for a single interview date.
So, if my father uses his application barcode and fee receipt to schedule the appointment, does my mother have to apply separately and include my father 
or is just doing it once enough.
Also, does it mean they'll need only one Visa fee receipt? or do both of them have to pay the visa fee, get the receipt and use just one when scheduling the appointment?
Help would be appreciated.

Make your appointment using your barcode number and fee receipt. If appropriate, use the “coworkers/family members traveling together” option. Then, download and print your VFS appointment letter.
