Hello,
My mother's visa got rejected twice. She is a widow and I am the only son. First she appeared on Nov 27th 2004 and that time, they didn't even see any documents and rejected under Section 214B. The second time, she appeared on March 10, 2005. This time, I had given a letter stating the reasons for her return and about her ties back home. This time the consular officer read the letter and asked some questions. He then called upon another consular officer and discussed something, and rejected saying that he can't do anything about it.
This is the situation. I am really confused as to what to do now. I am planning to try again in June. I am not sure what to do different this time. People are saying that it will be advantage if I can get a letter from the senator here. I am not sure how to get that letter if I need to get one. If anyone knows anyone who got that letter, could you please give me their email id, so that I can contact them. Please give me some suggestions regarding what I need to do. I am really confused here.
