  • Visitor's Visa related question

    hi There,
I on H1 VISA and I wanted to bring my parents on visitor's VISA. When I tried last year they have rejected same for some unknown reason. Even though my Father was on government job.
I wanted to try for their VISA again however this time he will be retired from his job this March 2012.

Should we try for Visitor's VISA before he retires or should we wait till he gets retire?
Also its been six months when their VISA got rejected last year so how long should we wait to apply next time to have better chances for getting VISA.
    Thanks in Advance.

First of all, you have to see why they were denied.
Can you post the interview whatever they remember?

    Also, can you post ;
    no. of children they have
how many in US and how many in India
The ones in India are they married /living with them?

      thanks for responding !!!

I have only one younger brother in India who is unmarried and lives with my parents.

May be the reason why they would have denied because I sent my parents and my Father-in-law together and my father in law has business in India.

They have been asked very basic questions like
      1. Where is your son and on which VISA he holds.
      2. What does my father do?
      3. How long your son have been in US?
      4. Who's son and who's daughter in US?
5.What business my father-in-law does in India?
      6. How many children my Father in Law has? - He has two younger unmarried daughters in India
      7. Why your wife(my Mother-in-law) is not with them to attend interview?

When my father asked why they have been denied then they gave him one slip and told them that it has all reason for which it could have been denied.
This time I am planning to send only my parents for stamping first and later some time my Father-in-law. Please Advice.
