Hello Immihelp,
Some people have adviced (and scared!) me about the way the DS-156 and I-134 forms need to be printed for the interview. While most said both the forms need to be printed back-to-back, otherwise they reject it at the first counter itself, few others said, its OK to print them on 2 different pages. This website says that the I-134 needs to be back-to-back, but nothing about the DS-156. Since the DS-156 is the most important form and the first doc to be reviewed thoroughly in the beginning at the counter, it needs to be printed back-to-back. Some people have told that their application was rejected at the counter for not following this format and were asked to fill out another DS-156 form by hand before the interview. Whats the best format for both the forms ?
Also, I believe that if we use the electronic form of DS-156 and print it, it generates a Bar Code and when you take this form for the interview, they just scan the bar code and all the info comes online. This avoids any mistakes in the VISA stamp that might happen by manually typing it. Is this true ?
While filling out the DS-156, Q # 40 for my mother-in-law, I mentioned that it was prepared by my father-in-law on her behalf and where the the address needs to be entered, the space is so limited that the entire address is not getting filled up. What do I do in this case ?
Pls advice.....
Thanks very much!
