Hello Group,
I am planning to invite my mother to the US. I am a research tech. at a big university. I am the only son for my parents. I am living along with my wife on an H1-B and my wife is on H4.
My dad retired last month and mom still works for State govt. School as a teacher. She applied for 6 months leave and wants to visit me.
I had quite a good money in my savings and in the last two months it went to zero. In I-134 I was asked to fill how much amount I saved in my savings.
My questions:
1. Is not having enough money in savings a major drawback for rejecting my mothers visitor visa ?
2. With the profile I have mentioned above, is she likely to get her visa approved?
can any one help me suggest their expert opinion.
thank you
