Vistor visa help

Hi,

I am on L1 Blanket (Under Company's Blanket) Visa and it is getting expired on 05 may 2012.
My I94 expires on same data. My company is ready to file for L1 B extension now.

I would like to bring my parents on Visitor Visa from India to USA before my visa expires.


Is it advisable to apply for the Visitor Visa now in March when my Visa is expiring just in a 2 months?

Could you please advice.
