  • Organization name for US contact

I was filling the DS160 forms for my parents and completed/submitted them last night. Then my father noticed that I had selected 'DO NOT KNOW' for the organization name under the US contact.
The contact is my brother and is doing his residency there. I had asked him about it a few days back and he replied saying I should enter DO NOT KNOW, probably because he has his shifts/rotations in more than 1 hospital.

My parents are paying for the trip themselves and it isnt being sponsored by my brother.

My father is a bit worried because the contact is his son and we ticked - DO not know for his organization name on the form..

I checked the sample DS160 from this site and it has DO NOT KNOW as well..

Should I refill the whole form again or let it be?

    Thanks

'Do Not Know' is correct in your case for Organization Name. You might have filled 'Contact Person Name in the U.S' as your brother which is also correct. Generally we fill Organization Name as the company name who is sponsoring L1 / H1 visas for example.

    All the best.

Do you also need to specify a person name in case of L1/H1 visa? And also if you clock on 'Do Not Know' to one of them, you cannot uncheck both of them at once. Unchecking Person Name will make the Company 'Do Not Know' and vice versa...

What would you propose in such a case?
