How much funds in the banks and salary will be good enough in order to successful convince the consulate that I am capable of sponsoring my parents?

Not just some bank balance. If you are earning $50k or above you are fine.

You must earn a minimum of 55KUSD as per IRS records in order to sponcer your parents, and above 80KUSD as per IRS records in order to sponser anyone other than your parents, Generally per person expenditure is calculated at USD 2.5KUSD permonth of stay in USa so if 2 people are travelling for 3 months a liquid fund of usd 15kUSD should adequate
