  • Visitor visa denial....urgent.... please help

    Hi,
I am carrying and my baby is due in july and I would like to invite my parents in the month of june ( mid).
My parents went for the interview at the delhi consulate on may 31st 2005, and they were refused the visa under section 214(b). The Questions they were asked was the intended length of stay in US--- and the answer he gave was 4 months, then the consulate officer (lady officer) asked for the leave sanction letter since my father is working. He showed the leave letter in which leave was sanctioned for 45 days. So, the officer asked that the leave is only for 45 days why do you want to stay for 4 months for which he answered that he may extend the leave if needed. But my parents bad luck the visa was denied. They are now reapplying for the visa sometime in next week, so I wanted some help regarding what all things they should they should take care of because this time they are going to say 45 days ( same as the sanctioned leave) if they are asked abouth the intended stay.
Any kind of suggestion is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Everything should be consistent. If you have leave letter for 45 days, say intended stay is 45 days.
