Visitor's Visa

Hi,

I m planning to bring my mother to US thru B2 visa. Since my father is no more, I will have to show strong ties with India for her. We have a own house, but the house is still with my father's name. We have the legal cerificate which has my mother's name, my name and my sister's name. There are lot of formalities to change the house from my father;'s name to my mother's name now, Shall we show the house document with the legal heir certificate to show the strong ties? Please advise....

At least for visa purposes:

House in your father's name + your father's death certificate = Your mother's house.

The house can be taken only into secondary consideration.
( No need to get it transferred just for the visa)

Primarily They want to see some family or work or income ties. Do you have any siblings in India? Is she working? Does she have a strong income base in India?
If not, I suggest she develop some vocational ties ( home based small business, school, etc.)
if she can. Otherwise, widows have difficulty getting a visitor visa.
