Hi, My Mom is in india, she has 10 years multiple visa issued 3 year ago, but recently her passport got expired and she got new passpost and she wants to visit me again. My question is does she need to do anything to transfer visa to new passport or not. I know she need to carry both passport with her when she is travelling.

I have a valid US B1/B2 visa which will expire in April. I am planning to re-apply now. I am 20yr old.
IS there any advantage of applying for the visa when ur existing visa is valid??..or the United States avoids giving visas to the people of my age these days??....pls do let me know!!

        difficult

I am assuming that you had a b1/2 visa issued to you when you were 10 years old and proberbly travelling with family to us for a holiday, At 10 years old you are not considered a potential immigrant to the us how ever now that you are 20 years old you fall into the high risk age catagory of 18-30, you will have to prove to the VO why you are unlikely to be a potential immigrant and for what strong purpose you must visit the US, if you are sucessful you will be granted a visa else you will be denied

You cannot apply for a visa till your current visa expires, There is no advantage or disadvantages whatsoever as every new application is treated as a seprate and fresh case and granting of visas solely depends upon your circumstances in your home country and the US
