B1/B2 visa for brothers graduation ceremony

My brother is taking grad walk in june.currently he is on opt status.he sent an invitation letter to my parents and me.we talked to a CA and he says that if i apply with my parents ,there is a good chance of rejection.he says that VO will suspect something if i too apply with them.can anybody let me know if they have seen cases where there were rejections due to siblings applying with parents.please somebody help!

The whole basis on which B1-2 visa is issued is that the person will return back to his home country thus strong ties are required, if your parents have strong financials and assets in india like high value properties and stable businesses as per tax returns, they will be issued visas

How will you prove to the VO that you are not a potential immigrant as you do not have strong ties in india like high value assets and properties, you are not married or have children banck in india also if you fall into the age catagory of 18-30 you stand a very high chance of your visa being rejected, visiting your brother for graduation is not a strong enough reason for issue of visa

Sample cases under which young people have been issued visas are those who have siblings or blood relatives in the US earning over 55KUSD as per IRS records and who have a travel history
