My father, who is a widower, has been rejected twice at the Bombay consulate because of insufficient ties, inspite of submitting bank documents, share certificates and property papers.
I was planning to reapply again but I am nervous about the fact that the officer might reject it again stating that there has been no change since in his situation since the last time (August 2004).
Any tips from people who had approvals after prior rejection would be very appreciated. I am thinking of approaching the local senator for help. What can I do to make a difference this time?
Thanks
Kannan
