    Sorry to intervene; But Very remote chance you will find an Indian living in Ireland on this forum.

    For your guidance, the basic rules{ or whims }for granting of B1/B2 are the same everywhere;

    *Your purpose of visit must make sense.
    *You should have strong ties to your place of residence , so the officer knows you are coming
    back.
    * You must have enough money for the trip.

      hi Peace999
      many thanks for your reply... you are actually right , did not find thread by Indian in Ireland on this helpful web. Well i have around 4000 dollar at the moment and i am working full time . I have finished my studies in last november and now staying on Graduate work permit for one year . I am going to back to India in September. So I want to travel before i fly back. I have traveled to UK and Spain (schengen visa) and now I am traveling next month Germany / Holland / France for that i have already got Schengen Visa from Germany.
      do you think this kinda history of travel would show them that I just want to travel to USA?

      Many thanks ....

        So, it is basically a pleasure trip.
        Your travel history in europe is favorable but there is a major issue;

        They may still consider you to be a potential immigrant . Because you are young and single
        ( I assume) and you have finished your studies in Ireland. So there is no compulsion for you to return to Ireland or maybe India.

        Do you have any relatives in US ?
        If it is a pleasure trip , why only 4 days?
        Any special reason why only NYC? what about other cities?
        Are you single or married? Any children?
        What ties do you have in INdia? What are your future plans in India?

        You can expect the above questions at your interview.
        Please post the answers if you like.

          yeah its a pleasure trip ...

          No , I don't have any relative in USA.
          4 days because i have got two weeks holiday from my current employer and i am spending 8 days in euro trip and would like to spend 4 days in NYC.
          New York , there is nothing particular reason , it just because i got only 4 days to spend and i want to spend in one city ... NYC is also most touristic destination in States and I am also getting good flight offers for NYC.
          Yes I am single and I don't have children .....
          My parents and my elder brother live in India and thats what ties me to India....
          I will find a job and start my career in India.

          thanks

            I would advise you not to go with the 4 day thing. Because it sounds highly unnatural.
            One would expect you to spend all 2 weeks in europe or all 2 weeks in US.

            ANd you do not have any spouse/children or permanent job ties anywhere.

            IF you can get a letter of a good job offer from India to substantiate your claim that you will return to India, that will help.
