Visa R B1/B2 good for 1 year ??

Need advice: I want to bring my mother from Thailand to the USA in March 2013. She has been here before in 2002. She had 10 years of visa, but now it expired. I applied visa for here. She had interivew on 3/26/2012 and on 3/27/2012 she received her passport back with visa stamp that Expriration date is 03/27/2013. It's only year. By the time I go there to pick her up and come here, here visa would expired. What is my next step? Should I reapply again in December 2012?

Visa is just to enter the US so if you plan to bring her to US in March 2013 then you need not have to worry. Since she has valid visa till 27th March you can plan a trip just before the expiry of the visa too. i94 issued at point of entry determines her stay in the US. If she plan to travel after 27th March 2013 then she can apply again in Jan/Feb.
