  • Revisit of my parents on Tourist Visa when Sponsor (My younger brother) is not in US.

    Hi,

    I am not sure if this question has been answered before on this forum, I tried to search and found similar answer for B1 visa but not for B2. So please bear with me, in case it is a repetitive thread.

    My parents got their B2 visa valid for 10 years 3 years back when my younger brother was in US.
    Now he is in India and I am in US. I want to invite my parents and am wondering if they need any documents to show at the port of entry to confirm their financial health to support this trip.

    Can someone please share the information on the list of documents which may be asked to present or which my parents should carry to be on safer side?

    Regards,
    Amit

    It does not matter if your younger brother is not in US any more.
    A 10 yr multiple entry visa implies that future entries do not have to meet the original situation.

    For all practical purposes the questions they will face at entry will be;
    the purpose of visit
    and duration they will be staying.

    they can say they have come to visit their son for 4 months.
    ANd they can carry your address and phone no. , just in case they are asked.
    no other documents required.
