Traveling on visitor visa for medical treatment

My brother and sister-in-law have traveled to the US before on visitor visa (as tourists), and have a 10 year multiple entry visa.
Is it ok to travel on the same for medical treatment? Any complications to be aware of?

For medical treatment, if you are carrying large sums of money, make sure
you declare it at US customs.,if it is > $10000 per traveler.
