Web appointment in non-regional consulate

I prefer my parents to be here before August last week as my wife is due during that time.. Unfortunately, when we tried to take a web appointment in Chennai, there was no availability until September last week. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment in Kolkatta (non-regional consulate) because of availability of dates during 1st week of August .. I knew that my parents have to justify the reason for going to non-regional consulate.

Does any one run into circumstances like this...

Unless you can show and prove a genuine urgency (pregnancy is a definite reason for rejection), their applications are sure to be rejected at Kolkota. I would suggest to take whatever appt is available in Chennai, and then keep on trying to find an earlier spot. Search this discussion forum on tips about that.
