Visitor Visa-Sponsorship Requirements

Hi Everyone,

I want my mother to apply for a Visitor Visa to USA. Currently I am working on OPT Status(F-1) and was Approved H-1 with start date Oct-1,2012. I am working with the same company for over an year.

My question is ,,

Am I eligible to present a Affidavit of Support for my mother , being on F-1 visa officially.

If so, what would any one suggest on having her self sponsored vs sponsored by me(I-134) ,,

If she has money to pay for her own trip, that is better.

Otherwise, you need to show that you have the money (or someone else has the money.)
