Urgent: Can't track my passport !!

I had applied for IWP(Interview Waiver Program) on 24th April and I got my Passport back on 27th April, 2012, which had no visa and letter to come to Consulate for interview. (221g)

So I gave my interview on 3rd May, 2012 at Mumbai Consular District and my VISA was approved for B1/B2 category.
But since then I'm not being able to track my passport online and it shows my old status ie: "Your passport was delivered from the counters at VFS Mumbai on 27-Apr-2012"
So i called up costumer care a couple of times even today and they also not being able to track my passport.
I have even emailed them a no. of times and VFS doesn't respond my calls back, I called up consulate and told that they were unable to help me as well.

Plz its really urgent if anyone can help me??

Visit VFS in person asap and hold them accountable, as they are responsible for the delivery.

And finally, in case you conclude that the passport is lost, inform the embassy immediately ,
so nobody can misuse your visa.

Get a new one passport under tatkaal and embassy will give you a new visa without any problems.


By the way, do you know why you were called for the interview ?

I hope my passport is not lost, making passport in Tatkal is a big headache.

Actually I was called for Interview for obvious reasons, bcoz, they didn't let me submit my documents of support at the time of IWP application as they said there is no need to do it. So the VO wanted to actually see those documents before approving me VISA
Make sure that u do submit them at IWP, even if VFS guys stops u, specially if ur age is b/w 20-30 yrs. and u r student like me.
