Do you need a Canadian visa to go to Niagara Falls on the Canadian Side or you can go there with the US tourist visa?

I think I've read in some other post on similar question that a canadian visa would be needed. However if somebody has a different information, do share.

You need a Canadian visitor visa to go to the Canada side of the Niagara falls.
