    my wife and her brother both are in us - when officer asks my in-laws about their son, what should they say ??

    should they disclose that their son is also in us ? will it be a problem telling them that both son and daughter in us ?

    I am the sponser ...

    They will not only have to tell about their son, they need to fill it in DS-156 as well. Do not hide such things from the visa officer. If found they will be in problem. As for sponsoring, it's ok if you are sponsoring. It's not necessary that only son should sponsor.

      Please advise,
      Do not hide any information on the visa application form. If USCIS finds you willfully misrepresented any information, one can be barred from entering the US for a LONG time.

        I fell you should not lie.They will find out as everything on line sooner or later.I feel they should tell truth and mention same in the DS_156
