  • B2 Visa-Urgent Help

    Hi, Im a 27 year old female currently working in the administration department of a university in pakistan for almost 2 years. I have lived in USA some 15 years back for 10 years but have no proof of it as my passport was misplaced.My nationality is Pakistani.I would like to visit USA to see an old friend and do some site seeing in New York as I have never been there. I dont have any savings other then my ticket money. My friend is living with her family in New York and I will stay with her.My family is here including my mom and sisters.What do you think are the chances of me getting the B2 visa and also please tell me how can I improve my chances.Thanks alot.

    Irrespective of your previous stay, the fact is;

    For a young , unmarried person , "going to visit a friend" never works.
    They consider it as a frivolous reason as young single people are the most likely
    to be potential immigrants.

    If you were visiting a close blood relative in US, it could have worked .
