Hi,
My H-1B visa petition has been applied by my current employed and is also approved by US embassy, the current status is "Ready for stamping", its not yet stamped.
P.S. My sister as well as my fiance are in USA on H-1B visa, so either of them can send me the sponsor letter.
I have some quick queries for applying for Tourist visa to USA with a pending H-1B visa stamping:
1. Can I apply for the visitor's visa to USA such that it does not impact/affect my H-1B visa stamping?
2. What if I visit USA on visitor visa based on my fiance's papers and later at the time of H-1B visa interview, the interviewer may see that I have someone already there in USA and so suspect it as an 'Immigration intent' and reject my H-1B visa?
3. What if my tourist visa is rejected? Will that affect my H-1B visa too later on or in that case, H4 visa too?
4. Are there any employers' specific visa policies wherein I may not go for the Visitor visa as I already have another type of visa approved?
If I can apply for the visitor's visa, how long can it take for me to get it and who could be the best source of my visa sponsorship, my sister or my fiance?
I would really appreciate community help and suggestions on my query.
Thanks in advance!
