Sponsoring for B2 visa for mom -what is expected min. balance in bank account?

Hi,

My husband is sponsoring B2 visa for his mother. I understand that he must file form I-134 and prove that he is capable of bearing her expense during her stay in US.

I want to know how much minimum bank balance is expected to be shown so that he is considered eligible to sponsor for his mom

Anyone who have sponsored and got visa for parents, please guide.

First of all I-134 is not mandatory.
If his parents have strong income / savings , they can show self -funding( recommended)

If that is not possible, an income of $50k and above will be required.

Me and my daughter are in US as his dependents. So in that case too will the income of above $50k would suffice?
